Living with a mental illness can seem impossible to the person who has the illness, as well as to their family and friends. As children grow up they have dreams of who they will be. Their families have hopes and dreams for them also. The change in a person might be slow or sudden, but when one of these illnesses occurs it can be destructive to everyone involved. Hopes and dreams may be broken as well as lives.
