Medication Assistance
Andrews Center provides medication services for treatment of mental health disorders. Some individuals
who require medication services may also qualify for direct financial assistance from Andrews Center to help pay for their medication. Individuals must meet strict criteria to qualify for medication assistance.
In general, medication assistance is:
- only available for critical medications to treat mental illness
- for medications on an approved formulary
- for the least expensive appropriate medication
- for medications not covered by insurance
- only for individuals who meet the admission criteria
In the event that funding is not available, a waiting list is maintained. This list is updated on a continual basis and consumers are moved to the active Medication Assistance Program on a first come, first serve basis as funding becomes available.
