Co-Occurring Psychiatric and Substance Use Disorders (COPSD)


Andrews Center provides services for adults who have substance abuse and substance dependency problems as well as psychiatric diagnoses that have resulted in multiple admissions to a state hospital. An individual must be evaluated for a diagnosis of bipolar I or II, schizophrenia, schizo-effective disorder and/or major depression with psychosis and substance use.

 

Andrews Center provides an intensive outpatient

Andrews Center - Help and Hope
program. The program offers case management and substance abuse counseling, linking individuals to community services and Twelve Step programs in the area. The goal is for the client to achieve optimal mental health without the use of drugs or alcohol, achieve a lasting level of sobriety and regain productivity within the community.
