The Andrews Center Children's Mental Health Case Management and Skills Training unit provides services designed to maintain children with severe emotional and behavioral problems in their community and reduce the risk of out-of-home placement for these children. An array of services is offered including Wrap-around, Case Management, Skills Training and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Most services are
provided in the family's home or in the community. Children's services are research-based and designed to fill in the "gaps" of services not being provided by other programs.
In addition to mental health services, Andrews Center offers a variety of services that focus on children with special needs. These programs are designed for children with physical, mental or emotional challenges or who may be at high risk for developing related problems. A few of these programs are:
- Early Childhood Intervention – a therapeutic program for infants and toddlers under the age of three who have developmental disabilities
- The Child Development & Treatment Center – a program for children with mental, emotional or behavioral problems and physical disabilities. This program serves children, ages 3 months to 5 years, who need special help in learning motor, language, cognitive or social skills. Participation in a full or half-day program is designed to enrich areas of strength and improve areas of weakness
- Kiwanis Children’s Place – a residential program for children who have severe health, behavior or physical problems
