The Children's Case Management and Skills Training Unit helps children and their families find needed services. This unit has eight case managers in Tyler/Smith County and one each in Henderson, Van Zandt and Wood/Rains Counties. Case Managers help families plan the services they need, link them to the services, coordinate the services and monitor how the children and families are doing. Also, case managers provide skills training to children and families to help parents learn to manage their child's mental health behavior problems and help children learn to manage their behavior problems.
