Admissions

 

The Charnwood Houses will admit residents who require a long term alcohol and drug free living situation to enhance their efforts of recovery:

• Residents will be voluntary
• Residents will need no detoxification or medical stabilization
• Residents will be screened by the Director and House Manager
• Residents will be at least 18 years of age
• All residents will have legal employment within 2 weeks of admission. If not employed, the individual will be reassessed by the Director
• Residents will demonstrate healthy recovery as evidenced by the following:

• Completion of an inpatient or residential chemical dependency program
• Referral from a chemical dependency professional
• Referral from an Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous sponsor who has witnessed the individual’s participation in Twelve Step support groups for at least 90 days
