Who we are...


Andrews Center Behavioral Healthcare System is a non-profit, comprehensive mental health and mental retardation center. Services are provided in a five-county area of East Texas (Smith, Wood, Rains, Van Zandt and Henderson). Center services are available to residents of these counties without regard to race, national origin, sex, age, religion or disability. The administration office and Smith County clinic are located in Tyler. For your convenience, clinics are also in Athens, Canton and Mineola.


Andrews Center employs some of the best trained professionals in behavioral healthcare equipped with a wide variety of abilities. They are trained to address many types of problems, some of which you may be facing. One of these professionals can sit down with you to discuss how we might assist you.


Andrews Center staff welcomes your questions. They will make every effort to get the answers you need. Should you decide you need our services, we want your visits to benefit your daily life, and we want you to be comfortable while you are at the Center.
